Planning Commission
OVERVIEW
The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing all subdivision and land development, zoning ordinance changes, and other matters for compliance to the Borough's Code of Ordinances and makes recommendations to the Columbia Borough Council. The Planning Commission hears proposals prosier to appearance in front of the Zoning Hearing Board for the purpose of malign recommendations to the Zoning Hearing Board. The commission must consider the impact development and changes have on the landscape of the Borough and operate in accordance with the PA Municipalities Planning Code.
