Borough Manager
Mark E. Stivers was hired as Borough Manager March 2020. Mark has a lengthy work history in planning and government, including serving as the borough manager for Manheim Borough. Mark graduated from Shippensburg University in 1987 with a degree in Geo-Environmental Studies and received a Masters of Science from Temple University in Community and Regional Planning in January 2010. In 2005, he received the Irving Hand – Excellence In Planning award. This award is given by the PA Chapter of the American Planning Association to a planner with professional experience who has identified an opportunity for professional growth and development. Mark and his wife Chris reside in Lancaster County. Mark has two daughter, one that lives in Philadelphia and one in the Boston area. Chris has one son and daughter in law that live just outside of Philadelphia. They enjoy travel, music, outdoor activities and cooking. Mark has a goal of setting foot on every continent.
