J.BrommerAs the Columbia Borough Police Department approaches its 125th year, it becomes evident how much policing has changed.  Whether it is the mode of transportation, investigative techniques, or new technology, keeping up with the ever-changing landscape is both challenging and rewarding.  Yet, the only true constant in our Borough has been the positive relationship between the police department and residents.  Policing, now more than ever, has evolved into a relationship where citizens and law enforcement work closely to improve their community.  This relationship is never clearer than when citizens report incidents or provide tips on CrimeWatch.  The department’s staff works with community members to maintain a high quality of life while consistently enforcing the laws.  Law enforcement needs support from citizens to be successful.  Help us to improve your community!
